Hi all, just upgraded to 2.7, looks good !! but the default has still got /pages as the main pages directory (why is this even still used anyway, i cant see the point as it doesnt help your site in any way and is bad for SEO).

Anyway, like many others i had my site pages in the root, but after the upgrade they're back in /pages, so is there any way i can get my pages back into root without manually redoing them? Obviously removing /pages inthe admin settings doesnt work.

Thanks..

Hello,

the upgrade lets the pages settings and the pages itself untouched. It does not move any pages and does not change the settings back to /pages if it was set in your previous version in the WB settings to the root. So if your page worked before with your pages in the root it should work the same after the upgrade to WB 2.7 without any problems.

So please can you make a little bit more explanations about your server and WB config? Did the pages in the root really work with your (i think) WB 2.6.7 version? This function was buggy in WB 2.6.7 und i think it only worked if you tweaked a few corefiles. Maybe this changes are now not compatible to WB 2.7

yes i've got pages in root working on several 2.6.7 versions.. i just changed it in settings before i created the pages, and they were fine.

The pages were def in root before the upgrade, and afterwards they were back in pages. Anyway, not to worry now as the site was work in progress, so i've just started again from scratch. I've just added TinyMCE and Ibrowser too and all is dandy. Smiley

Any plans to integrate Ibrowser into a release? Its such a superb plugin for something like WB, as its so easy for the end user to use. Every time i do a new installation i have to reinstall it Sad
