Hi,

just upgraded to 2.7 and it went quite smoothly except some little problems, which are solved quite quick. Only noticed that the module "Update check" shows that most modules are newer than available ones. Exceptions are the module for captcha, frontend output, javascript admin, those are shown with a '?'. show_menu2 is even older than available after upgrading.

So, what can I do? Specially I'd like to have show_menu2 as actual one. Can I simply copy the new version with FTP over the older one?

Regards, Thomas

Hello,

yes uploading the latest show_menu2 module from the addons repository via FTP should do the trick.
Once we have updated the modules on the addons website, the module version check should work as expected.

Hoi,

I did also an update this weekend to 2.7. Everything goes as expected! No problems!
But like Mr._T said, when a module on the local server is more recent than the module on the WB server, you get a red cross so you think there is an older module locally. This is sometimes confusing.
But yes, I can live with it.

Hello,

this is because our repository page works with Wb 2.6.7. As we wanna rework the whole repository thing  please be patient till the new one is online. The red crosses are only on core modules but on version number 2.7 you can see that you have newer ones then on repository. So this is only an optical issue.

Hello,

this is just to inform you that we have suspended the support of the module: "Module Version Check".
We have removed the module from the download list. If you are using this module, please deinstall it via the WB backend, it is no longer supported.

Once we have finished the reorganisation of the entire addons repository, there might be a replacment for this module.

Hi,

No problem if it's no longer gesupporteerd.
But does it do something wrong or dangerous with WB or the database?    undecided

Hello,

this decission has mainly do to with the rework of the addons repository which is currently under development.
The new architecture we intend to introduce will no longer support this module. However, a similar module can be written if there is a demand for it once the rework is finished.
