Hi

Hope someone can help..

Just trying out WebsiteBaker and have installed the Feedback module from this site for use on some pages. I'm having some probs with the CAPTCHA on this module.

For e.g.
http://manicradio.net/wb/pages/featured-bands/made-up-band.php?fb_action=feedback#fb_anchor

The image is unreadable and I want to change the CAPTCHA options.

When I look at the demo
http://www.opensourcecms.com/cms/websitebaker/admin.html

There's some options to change how CAPTCHA works under the Admin-Tools section, but I don't have Admin-Tools on my install so I can't change the behaviour.

I suspect I am missing something or being dumb - what did I miss!

Thanks
Graham

Hello,

wich WB version did you use? Admin Tools are introduced with WB 2.7. They are not available in 2.6.x Versions.

Ahhh that'll be it, I took the highest version (2.6.7) from the Stable section of Downloads.

I'll look into upgrading to 2.7 then.

Thanks

OK - upgraded to WB v 2.7

Which has upgraded Feedback to v 0.28

Now I have no CAPTCHA options on Feedback at all. I've tried looking through the code but whether it is used or not seems to depend on a global CAPTCHA var. The Admin-Tool for CAPTCHA states that module CAPTCHA options are configured on the module settings.

Anyone know how to enable CAPTCHA on Feedback with the version combination above?

Thanks

Hello,,

what you write is a little bit confusing, so just for to clearify some questions.

1.) You upgraded to WB 2.7 and there where no errors when running the upgrade script?
2.) If you go to admin tools, you have there the different captcha options and can change them?
3.) Did the captcha work with the built in form modul?
4.) Did you only have problems with the captcha in feedback modul?

thanks for your answers

Hi

OK I'm an idiot!

It's actually a problem with Firefox (v2.0.0.14) caching.

If you change the captcha type in the Admin-Tool Firefox does not display the captcha at all on the Feedback page until you completely clear the cache - even a Ctrl+F5 page refresh which is supposed to force the content to be pulled again from the server - doesn't help. Clear all cached files, restart browser and then revisit the page and it works fine.

I really am quite embarrassed! Apologies for wasting people's time  embarassed

Thanks so much! Smiley
