Is WB suitable for e-commerce?
«

I've been looking for some time for a CMS solution that my retail clients will find easy to use.
WB has some good reviews and I've seen some nice sites.
I've looked around on this forum and can't find much info on simple shopping carts (e.g. Paypal only).
I've read a few posts that mention 'Gocart' and 'Bakery', but there seem to be problems using them.
Is WB any good for developing simple ecommerce sites?
Thanks in advance

Thanks Bennie,
Can you, or anyone else let me have URL details of WB sites that use Gocart or Bakery?
Thanks

I think it depends on the size of your site. If your site will have generally large traffic and complicated orderings, I suggest you go with something like Joomla (very confusing, unfortunately) or Drupal.
IMO, the WB shop scripts are somewhat basic and not as complex as some other shop scripts out there. But if you're site is small and you're just looking to run a small, simple shop, then WB would be fine.

Thanks aimeeish,
Most of my clients are small retail shops and it looks like WB might be ok.
I've looked at Joomla, but I think this might be beyond their abilities and I would also have a lot to learn!
Is 'Gocart' better than 'Bakery' for a small eshop - up to about 500 products?
They would all want to use a Paypal Cart.
Any URL's of successful WB shops would be most welcome.
Thanks
