I have an odd question.

You know the Round-Template that comes with the default installation?
Well that template features a "powered by websitebaker"-button as you can see here with the guys of OpenSourceCMS.

I wonder: is there a transparent version of that logo?
I am using a modified Round-Template and wanted to feature that button at the end of every page. But since my menu-background isn't white but a specific blue, it doesn't look as nice.
So a transparent version would be welcome - either in GIF- or PNG-format.

Thanks in advance for the replies!
Best regards,

You could try to make it with Photoshop or some other good program. Mspaint will not help, but think any other program could do the job.

I already tried with "Paint Shop Pro" - but the picture itself isn't completely white, but has a lot of colors around the fonts.

I can make one myself, but I would need the chef-hat that is displayed. I can hardly reproduce that smiley.

Thanks in advance!
Good night, everyone!

Just have a look at the top of this page.
The chef-hat there is very usable.

Thanks to freeware-programs like XnView there is hardly any format that I cannot view smiley.

So yes, it would be very helpful. Tomorrow's a holiday here, I'd look into it then and post the picture I created in the forums.

Thanks in advance!
Have nice day!

Hello VSG -
XnView is a picture browser.
You will need to have a EDITOR in order to manipulate the psd file.
Did you ever hear about GIMP (os)?
So far as I know it's able to handle psd-Files (Photoshop).
(I myself never used it.)

The attached Filie is for free use for everyone. (It's a zipped *.psd file)
It's not matching 100% with the original Logo (maybe 95%  wink)

Best Regards,
Stefek

Code:
//EDIT
I do uplode a *.PNG File also, for those not having psd-editing Softwre

Thanks, Stefek for the files!

I know, XnView is just a browser - but I was able to extract the frame I needed and edit it with PaintShopPro smiley.

So, attached three pictures:
1. a transparent-background PNG of your chef-hat (I get a black background when I open the pic here huh).
2. the old powered.jpg
3. my newly created powered.png with transparent background.

Since transparent .pngs are supported by all up-to-date browsers (Firefox 3, Opera 9.5+ and Internet Explorer 7+), I think it is safe to use them.

The WB-team may feel free to include the picture in upcoming WB-releases as a substitute for the powered.jpg. Since with a transparent background it would fit with all templates.
I hope you like it, tried to make it look as close to the original as possible.

Have a nice day!
Best regards,
VSG

PS: Don't get confused that the new pic is shown a bit blurred below - seems to be an attachment-preview issue. It is clear as you can see here on my website.
