WB does not create new pages

I receive no error messages... but when I create a new page via the WB backend the page doesn't appear in it's directory when viewing with an FTP client; obviously I get a 404 not found error. Now I can manually create the page and upload it via FTP and also create the page in the database so that it works the same as adding it via WB but that's not very ideal.  I've set all permissions for /pages and it's sub-contents to 777 so it's certainly not permission based as far as that goes.  Any other folders I need to look out for with illegitimate permissions or any other ideas?

meh - now it works... should permissions for /pages and it's sub-content folders truly be 777?

depending on your hosters server config it could be. Normal 755 should be enough.
