Hello,

I've guess this should be in the module section and I haven't found it during the search;
Is there a way to backup and restore databse in any case the site's data is lost?

Hello,

a backup tool did you find in WB 2.6.7 in the advanced options, in 2.7 in the admin Tools. This allows you to easily backup your database. For restoring please use the tools from your provider, mostly phpmyadmin.

If you now have a broken page, you don't need to use this tool as it only backups your broken page. In this case ask your hoster to restore his backup from your page.

I'm sorry, I meant to say automatic backup restore option, but I guess you've already answered my question.

I know it's possible to manually backup the database but unfortunately I could not manage to restore it using phpmyadmin on a different website. I was thinking about something like a cron job or an auto backup/restore function which will send the backed up data to my e-mail.

Restoring databse using phpmyadmin is limited to 1mb (If I remember correctly). It's quite a lot for database but still... I hope to see this feature in the new version (wonder when it's going to come out)

Thanks, I believe this will solve the problem from what I've read in the description.
Database issure is one of the most important issues one should consider when developing a website, in case something goes wrong or a major upgrade is needed, or a server migration.

Thanks again.
