Fckeditor - unknown toolbar item
«

I have been using FCKeditor (v2.81) with my installation of WB until just now. Suddenly when I try to update a page with a WYSIWYG section I get an error message:
Unknown toolbar item "WBModules"
I have tried reloading modules, uninstalling and reinstalling, installing a later version (2.85), clearing the cache. Nothing works.
Any suggestions?
cheers,
Mike

Hello,
it is most unlikely that a module stops working without changes made by yourself or the hosting company.
However, deinstall FCK from the WB backend. Check via FTP if the folder /modules/fckeditor does no longer exist. If uninstalling does not work via WB backend, delete the folder /modules/fckeditor via FTP.
Next create a empty folder /modules/fckeditor with FTP. Upload all files contained in the FCK Zip package via FTP to /modules/fckeditor.
Then clear browser cache and session, log into the backend, go to settings -> advanced options -> administration tools and reload all templates and modules. Then try again.
Regards Christian

I had the same problem.
Being used to using only lowercase for filenames and dirs and uploading all files with forced lowercase, you got yourself a problem:
In /modules/fckeditor/fckeditor/editor/plugins/ you will find the directory WBmodules. If you have, like I did, uploaded this directory using forced lower case, than this error does occur.
So delete this dir including everything in it, and upload again without using forced lowercase.

Hello,
Quote
uploading all files with forced lowercase
That's not really a good idea and could cause other issues to. Best is simply upload all files and folders as they are in the package.

did you end up solving this problem?
one of my baked sites is suddenly doing it (my ftp program doesnt do forced lowercase so thats not the issue)
my solution was to simply remove FKeditor and install the latest. Seems to have worked.

I had similar problems, same php error message, quite unusable FCKEditor (no icons, only some few texts instead of them).
I tried removing .../wb/fckeditor/fckeditor and replacing by FCKEditor V2.6.3 tarball, but no difference, still the same errors.
I didn't have any problems on actual debian etch on another server, but this is with an account at 1und1.de (Germany) with PHP Version 4.4.8 with gd support and mysql 5.0.32 (told by phpinfo() ).
Anything else with wb works smoothly, so it may be a FCKEditor problem...
addition:
same with nightly build 2.6.4 (SVN)

Tried to debug by searching for "WBModules" in some php files, but until now didn't find anything.
But if I type into the browser:
http://xxxxxxxx.de/wb/modules/fckeditor/fckeditor/editor/fckeditor.original.html
I get all the tiny icons of the editor. And if I type ...../editor//fckeditor.html I get nothing (visible).
Maybe some developer can try to figure out what happens or not?

Hello,
to get FCKEditor working with WB you cannot use the files from FCKEditor page without doing some changes on it. Download from FCKEditor page and upload in WB dir cannot work.
So my first question is, did the version wich is builtin in WB 2.7 work?
If yes, your problem has to do with your wrong try to integrate a newer FCKEditor version.
If no, maybe it is an server config issue. In this case no version of FCKEditor should ever work.
I saw that there is a new version of FCKEditor available. If i got the time this weekend (sunday) i will integrate this in a new Modul for WB.

This is a great Idea.

Hi,
I just moved one of my WB installations to a new host (Godaddy Linux with Apache 1.3.33 , PHP 5.2.8, MySQL 5.0.45) and everything is fine apart from this Popup message in FCKEditor.
I've tried installing the latest version of the FCKeditor module, clearing my browser cache etc but I still get the error and am now stumped what to do to cure the problem.
Can anyone help please ?
