Hello Leif,

Sorry for the inconvenience - you are right: the uploader module is not easy to handle...

For uninstalling please delete the \uploader directory within your module path and then use the admin tools --> reload addons --> module to complete unistalling.

Hi,

I attempted to install the module but I did not get the usual message that reports successful install. I got a blank screen.

I tried to install it again but I got a message saying the module is already installed. However I can not see it when I try to create an upload page.

Please help me un-install and re-install and hopefully get it working.

my server has all the system requirements. and I am currently on WB 2.7

thank you.

PECL Upload Progress is installed?

Please switch in backend -> settings -> show advanced options -> Error reporting level  to E_ALL.

Uninstall module, then install again and report the error messages prompted while installation.

Hm, curious. Which PHP Version are you using?

My hosting company sent me an .htaccess file to place in my webspace and that seem to make some difference but now I am getting this error message. any ideas?

[Uploader Module] Error

The PHP PECL Extension uploadprogress is absolutly necessary for the uploader module.
Please install first the PECL Extension an install the uploader module again.

This mean, that it seem you are now running PHP 5.x but your Server has not installed the PHP PECL Extension.

This is a great module!
I am playing with it lately and added some styling with mootools for the file inputs. Very nice!
I wonder if Ralf do updates for this module anymore...
I think some kind of validation for file uploads  (mime types restrictions) is necessary.
I have done a javascript validation but of course it should be better for something server-side.
Any idea about the above?

Thank you cool
I don't force this module in publicity and for free because it is too tricky for general use and need server access for configuration.
The uploader module is in use in multiple printing plants where it is working very well, I'm offering a newer version with professional and payed support by demand.

Hello Miltos,

I've seen but there was no time, now it's done.
