I created a form that gathers a user email in the course of the form. I am trying to CC that user a copy of the form.
I am not expert in php though I have done considerable tweaking to my templates, etc. In the "Settings" section I have tried various syntax to pass that variable along with the other emails in the routing, I also tried to find the appropriate page in the forms module to amend also to no avail.

I installed the forms update hoping there would be a solution there.

The form is here; http://www.sbdctap.com/pages/process/sow.php

I really appreciate any help you can lend.

Hello,

if you have installed the advanced form from our addons, you have in the option of the modul the posibility to send the user who filled the form a mail. Simply create your form, wich needs to have one Email field. Then set this Email field as "Email to" in the options of the modul. Thats all.

Thanks for the reply Matthias. I did install the advanced module. The reply piece does not include a copy of the form. I am trying to cc the person filling out the form so they have a copy for their records.

Thanks,
Bob

Ahh now i understand. Yes the reply mail only contains the message you enter in the options of the modul. It does not contain the form. This needs a tweaking of the modul. Look at view.php around lines 447 - 469. There are the mails generated. Try it with replacing both "$success_email_text" with "$email_body".

Hi Matthias, It is now 2010 november , and I have exactly the same problem !!
I'm using WB 2.7 now and your answer from march 2008 is now out-dated.
Do you have a new solution ?
Is it still the view.php file from the Form module?
If yes, what has to be tweaked?
