Hi,

I am using FCKEditor 2.81. On ie6 it works fine on numerous sites however, on one site I have a curious problem. When I click to insert and image and then 'browse server' I get the following message:
Quote
The connector is disabled. Please check the "editor/filemanager/connectors/php/config.php" file.

I am baffled as the server setup is the same as on all other sites where we use this editor with no problems.

Just checked and it works fine in Firefox. Very strange as it works in ie6 and firefox on my other sites!!!  huh

Does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks

Hello,

check if the user and group permissions allow to access the WB media center. Clear the browser cache and session variables. Try it with IE 6.0 and Firefox both same accounts, same computer.

Hi,

I was logged in as administrator with full permissions when I tried on both ie6 and firefox. I also cleared browser cache and session variables but still failed to get access to the media folder using ie6 though no probs with firefox. IE7 seems to be fine. Trouble is the client uses ie6!

Thanks

Hello,

most likely the error is due to a a pop-up blocker in IE6. The developers of FCK have released 2.6 Beta recently, which should fix problems related to popup blocker. We will publish a WB module, once a FCK 2.6 final version is released.

Hello,

wich Wb version and wich FCK-Editor Version did you use?

Have no MAC but what about javascript libraries. Heard something that especially on a MAC the version of these libraries is important.

I just had the same error. Fortunately the reason in my case was simple:
The connection was idle for too long and I had been logged out.  I could still work on the page, open the image form etc. Only found out when trying to save ...
Logging in again fixed it.

(WB 2.7)

Cheers,
Ralf.
