Add a page (a lightbox gallery) to a newsitem

I've managed to start working with page-sections and blocks, but onfortunately there's no way to do this inside a newsitem.
For instance: I've got this newitem and I want to add this gallery underneath the text of this single newsitem.

Working with sections would make the gallery appear underneath every newsitem. Is there a way to do this?

Is there really nobody who has ever needed this feature? Strange.

I asked the same thing a long time ago and then started doing it myself.
Got a lot of errors and then stopped!
