I have two websites: sageworld.org and sagephotoworld.com both hosted on sageworld.co.uk.

The sageworld.co.uk host is something I take very little interest in - the domain could equally well be stinkyfarts.co.uk as my domain names redirect.

I have sagephotoworld.com hosted in a folder called WB.

sageworld.org is in dire need of a redesign as it's based on 15 year-old frames and hasn't been updated since 2003. I did have a bash with another web design package but am not happy with the results www.sageworld.co.uk/sgw.

Clearly website baker is easier to work with and generally better (and more comprehensive) than sitegenwiz.

My question therefore is: how do I put two sites on using website baker? Can I simply install website baker in another folder (call it WB2) and then redesign the site from there or must I combine the two somehow without linking them in the WB folder? Not sure how to do this.

Hello,

you can have multiple WB installations on one server if you use different folders. the only thing you should have attention for is to use different table prefixes (if you use only one database for both domains) or different tables.

You might also want to use different session identifiers on both the installations.

cheers

Thanks. How would I go about setting it up with 2 WB folders? Can I just copy the WB folder to WB2? Where do I go from there?

No. Just create another folder on your server and copy the original install files to the new created folder. If you copy the WB folder to WB2 folder, you can get serious trouble with config files and the table prefixes.
You can even copy the new WB 2.7 RC1 to the WB2 folder. Don't forget to use another table prefix like Matthias told you  wink

Well, I had a go. I couldn';t get it to work - kept coming up with SQL errors so I just junked the idea.
