When i try to install an add-on, for example the dutch language, i get the following error:

Quote
Warning: move_uploaded_file(/home/geversba/domains/geversbaan.nl/public_html/temp/language8qkh590b) [function.move-uploaded-file]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/geversba/domains/geversbaan.nl/public_html/admin/languages/install.php on line 63

Warning: move_uploaded_file() [function.move-uploaded-file]: Unable to move '/tmp/phpGkfiRL' to '/home/geversba/domains/geversbaan.nl/public_html/temp/language8qkh590b' in /home/geversba/domains/geversbaan.nl/public_html/admin/languages/install.php on line 63

Cannot upload file

I had the same problem with a guestbook install (i did that manually) but i would really like to know how i can fix this. And if this is a server error, or a wb error or something else!

I am using wb 2.6.7

Hello,

seems to be a permission issue. Please check your permissions on temp, languages, modules and templates folder. Depending on your server config not only to small even to great permissions didn't work. So ask your hoster how to set permissions woth ftp, that php scripts are allowed to add/change files.

hey Matthias,

Somehow the temp folder was missing... so i created one and gave it chmod 755.
And tried uploading the language addon, guess what??? it worked!

Thanx for your reply and solution!

greets from mattijs
