I have installed FCKEditor 2.81 but the following happens using ie 6. I haven't tested with other browsers yet.

1- I cannot highlight text or images in the wysiwyg window with my mouse (highly frustrating!).

2- When I try to do things like add a link (internal or external), image etc I get the following error message pop up:

Does anyone have any ideas?
Thanks

Hello,

first check if the same problems occur when using Firefox. If not, check your IE 6.0 settings (e.g. Iframes, Javascript, Popup Blocker). Have you deinstalled the previous FCKEditor before installing the new one? If not deinstall FCK and try again with a clean install.

Hi Christian,

I have now tested the install on another 2 websites (one wb2.6.5 and one wb2.6.7) and the fckeditor works fine in ie6 on these sites. I have also tried uninstalling and reinstalling making sure that all traces of the old version had gone and still the same problem.

I'm even more baffled now because it works fine in other sites on IE6.

I guess it may be a curious one-off in life!  smiley
