Hello. I have been using website baker for my own personal website for a number of years now (and thanks Smiley ). I like WSB as it is by far the simplest to actually use and modify pages.

I have a project coming up that multiple users to be able to have their own small cms system, to change a few photos, pages and text, but managed by a much lager cms for ease of me (being the admin of the whole system).

I had a look at the user/group permissions, but the trouble is it seems that any user/group can see the entire WSB systems pages and upload to the root media, rather than having their own small section.

I was wondering if there is a way to use WSB in the way I would like? and if not, then does anyone have any CMS suggestions, free or commercial (simplicity is key).

I have read that something smiler to what I want will be coming in WSB3, but the project is about to kick off, and I have read things about WSB3 for years now Smiley

Thanks for any help
Chris

Hello!

WB3 is not sure at all, please don't expect anything regarded to this version.

Why not just the WB as it is now? You can assign every user in the media section a unique folder. You can define every user every page and even more, everything based on groups, user here the advanced group management.

With the upcoming WB2.7 (as you can see now in the SVN) multiple groups to one single user can be assigned.

But am I right that although you can set a group to be able to create pages only in a certain folder (this is something I have already done) they can see 'see' all the other pages in the page list. The same with media.

What I am after is for each group to be blanked off from each other and the root, and only see what they can upload, change or create.

Thanks

Does anyone know of a CMS system in which it is possible, whether commercial or free?
