Registered Page Login Firefox not IE

I have some pages on my site which are registered. I have enabled login and when visiting these pages on the front end, I get a login dialog. I can enter a username and password in firefox and login no problem. When I do the same in IE6 / IE7, the login page reloads and the username/password boxes are empty.

What gives? Any thought to resolve this much appreciated, I'm

More information, I cannot login in IE6 or IE7 to the admin section of the site either

I cleared everything, browsing history, cookies, cache, restarted IE and still no dice.

Really weird how it works no matter what in firefox, but both IE6 and IE7 stopped working.

Just guessing since you didn't provide a URL to look at but maybe it's the CSS used to display the login. There are a few quirks/differences between IE and FF in terms of how CSS is interpreted.

Also, have you looked at the generated HTML in IE to make sure that everything is there?
