Hi,

When I post a message in the news module v2.6.1.9 (see Core Module Replacements) I get the error Error creating access file in the /pages directory (insufficient privileges). It's error $MESSAGE['PAGES']['CANNOT_CREATE_ACCES S_FILE'].
This is strange because I'm the webmaster and have all the rights. And the updatemodule to v2.6.1.9 ran without errors.
Is there a problem with mysql or other previleges? The previleges are exact the same like the help file (http://help.websitebaker.org/pages/en/basic-docu/working-with-wb/settings/server-settings.php). When I turn every item on, the results are the same...

Someone got an answer? I looked in this forum but there was no such an error.

Thanks in advance,
Luc

Your Webserver can not create the required File on your Webserver. This has got nothing to do with your access rights. Check the permissions. And, some more info is available on the Help Site.

cheers

This is strange. On my other website (same version of WB and News module) it runs perfect. No error. Even the same server.

Can it the .htaccess file causes some trouble?

Hello,

please have a look to your pages folder. There should be a posts dir. If this is not there try to manually create it manually and give write permissions for the php scripts. Then you should be able to create news.

Hoi,

YES YES YES! It works now.
I even had trouble of deleting this map. My FTP program told me "No rights"... stupid  shocked
After changing the permissions, I was able of killing this dir. Then recreate the map and everything was allright.

I will have a look at the webserver.

Thanks a lot!
