I am using two menus (top and left).  One uses show_menu2, the other still uses page_menu.  If I have my home page on my website as the first item on:
http://www.mysite.com/admin/pages/index.php

It shows up if I just point my browser to:
http://mysite.com  or  http://www.mysite.com

But, if I move it from that position on admin/pages/index.php  to say the second position, I can no longer display it when I use those main domain links (mysite.com & www.mysite.com).  I was moving it around so that I could display it on a different menu and have it segragated with those menu items.  (My menus are growing and I am trying to keep it organized.)

You don't need to make any changes on this file. This is a core file of WB. Changing this file may brake WB.

Why using two different menu codes. Better is to make both menus with show_menu2. This speeds your page up and prevents issues.

@lanesharon-

I don't understand what you are trying to do. It sounds like you want your home page (as it is displayed in admin->pages) to not be the first page in your menu hierarchy...is that right? If so, then it's not your home page. Did I misunderstand?

Or, are you really trying to make your /admin/pages/index.php to be your site home page? This is intended for admin use only.
