Hi,

I recognized today, that the guestbook plugin bypasses the preprocessing funtion, which, I think, is desired as it is. Found the callup of the function only in the module WYSIWYG and news. I guess, view.php from the corresponding module should call this function.

For that I'd like to know if there's one common access point to modify the content before it's getting viewed. I was looking for $content all the way, but got lost quite soon. This would be a better hook than the current one for the spam protection.

Regards, Thomas

This is rather meant as a general question, because I think that it's good to have one common hook before the output starts to setup other things, too.
