Static page genration !!!

Hi

I wonder if we can have real static page generated when we save a page (or may be an extra module to generate Static HTML page out of the whole DB)..

If this can be done (already done?) .. I think all the sites will be downloading lightning-fast!!

Any idea?

Hello,

again, before posting, try to search the forum. This is already discussed and as far as i know there exists a how to for this. But why using a cms when you need static pages?
