Help,

I am on my 2nd site install, having got the first site up and running very smoothly. This is on another ISP (Netregistry, Australia).

The install script save.php gave the following errors:

Quote
Notice: Constant VERSION already defined in /clientdata/www/au/i/intellicorp.com.au/admin/interface/version.php on line 39

Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /clientdata/www/au/i/intellicorp.com.au/admin/interface/version.php:39) in /clientdata/www/au/i/intellicorp.com.au/framework/class.login.php on line 277

Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /clientdata/www/au/i/intellicorp.com.au/admin/interface/version.php:39) in /clientdata/www/au/i/intellicorp.com.au/framework/class.login.php on line 146

however by manually editing config.php and then renaming the INSTALL folder, things looked promising. Except, I have to login as admin every 5 seconds, or so!!! If I am really quick, I can create and save a Page, or change a Setting, but I better Save at lightning speed, otherwise I am presented with the admin login window and my screen inputs are lost.  huh

This is really freaking me out! My own site does not have this problem, plus I have tried both IE and Firefox with same results.

Any help would be much appreciated.

ps: Sometimes I also get a message to say that the site isn't redirecting properly or not accepting cookies. Which I am, also I have no such issue with my own WB site!

Thnx, Paul  afro

Hello,

clear browser cache and session variables before running the WB installation Wizard.
Check if PHP session support is enabled and all other WB requirements are fullfilled by your ISP.

Done it. Even tried a different computer, but no change.

I am also getting

Quote
"The page isn't redirecting properly"

at frequent intervals! Tried a second installation on a subdirectory of /wb instead of the root and using a different table prefix. Same problems.

I then tried to install WordPress into another directory (different table prefix again), which works with not even a hint of a problem! I would prefer wb, so not sure what's going on.

Hello,

can you give us more infos about your server config. F.e. a link to infophp, could be temporary or sent a pm if you wanna not make the infos public.

think it has to to with the server config and especially with session management. So please check and doublecheck as christian sugessted if all reqiurements are fullifiels by your ISP.

Thanks for responding. I appreciate it.

ruebenwurzel: I've PM-ed the infophp link to you.

I am also frequently getting the following:

Quote
Notice: Undefined index: redirect in /clientdata/www/au/i/intellicorp.com.au/account/login.php on line 67

Notice: Undefined index: redirect in /clientdata/www/au/i/intellicorp.com.au/account/login.php on line 75

Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /clientdata/www/au/i/intellicorp.com.au/account/login.php:67) in /clientdata/www/au/i/intellicorp.com.au/framework/class.login.php on line 146

As this site is not under my authority, I am not able to give anyone direct access, however I could let you connect to my screen via LogMeIn, which would give you remote control to my PC - which I would log in to the ISP.

Thanks again,
Paul

Has no one ever had a session problem like this?
