For anyone who cares, I have figured out my problem with using includes/requires to bring in external code.  I tried all the solutions offered on the forums, and still couldn't get it.  I think the problem was that WB and the system I was trying to bring in both utilized template classes that conflicted.  My workaround was to wrap WB around the system I was trying to bring in, instead of trying to include the system into WB.  That ended my headache!

The only thing I have not figured out how to wrap, that I would like to have there, is the WB menu. I read a couple of posts here where people have tried it, but not with 100% success.  If you have a way of bringing WB menu code into an external page, please reply here or PM me.  Thanks to those who helped.

It should anyway be possible to "include" the wb classes into the template or index of the other system (maybe even a minimized Version) and reference the menucalls from there ...

cheers

Yup, I thought I had been satisfied with a workaround I did, but I think I would like the flexibility of the WB Menu to wrap around it.  I am still working on menu categories, but the nice part is I can 'play' with the organization until I am happy with it.

So, I am going to revisit this problem again and see if I can do the calls from an external system.  I'll come back and report if I can.  The website is here:
http://www.greenvalleyweb.com/

The external system is here:
http://www.greenvalleyweb.com/weather-forecast/index.php?forecast=zandh&alt=fast&pands=green+valley%2C+az

I wouldn't want the search included because the weather system is VERY dynamic, which makes the search useless.  But, I sure would like the menu system (at least the top menu system).

If I can start on it early in the morning, before the fog of the day gets to me, maybe I can figure it out.   rolleyes
