I have a question about how to use website baker.

I've built a site(with dreamweaver) and uploaded it to my server.  My hosting gave me WebsiteBaker as a free script add on.  Now is there a way that I can use the website baker to make changes to my current site?

Really what I want to do is build a website for a client, and then let them use WebsiteBaker to make tex changes to the site.  Do I have to build the site in website baker?  Am I asking too much for this program?

Thanks,

Hello!

WebsiteBaker is a Web Content Management System, that means WB builds your whole website, it is no addon for anything. You could (very vaguely!) compare WB to dreamweaver itself.

Using WB and dreamweaver would lead to nothing (besides you use dreamweaver as a PHP/HTML/CSS editor).

Look at the documentation, there are many questions answered.

if you have a template created in dreamweaver, you can read the WB documentation to find out how to turn that into a website baker template.
its pretty simple, you dont include any content in the template, you place php tags where you want the content to be displayed.
making the menu work is a little more complicated but still not that hard! if you read the documentation and search around the forums youll be up and running in no time.
try downloading a template or two from the addons page and you can open them up and see how they work.

have fun, youll love WB

Yes the summons it quite well. I use Dreamweaver to make templates (i run WB locally with MAMP, so I get write-permissions and can edit the template and look at the result in realtime). Then just zip and install the template on the "real wb installation".
