Hi all, as i understand it FCKeditor hs the upload feature removed for security reasons. For the same security reasons TinyMCE has been removed from the module list.

Now, im sure i'm not the only one, but the facility to upload from the editor far outweighs the security risks to me. TinyMCE had a great addon called Ibrowser and Imanager, which are just too good to exclude from my sites based on the minor annoyance of a possible security risk.
So, can i still download old versions of the tinyMCE plugin from this site?

Whilst i'm on.. does anyone know if the ibrowser plugin for FCKeditor gets rid of the security prob?

Hello,

with the actual version of FCK (v2.5 Beta), you can upload fles while giving WB the control of permissions. So if the user is allowed to upload files to WB media folder, the function is enabled in FCK too, if not, the function is disabled.

The other modules were removed, as it was possible to upload files without beeing loged into the WB backend.

Check out the WB version of FCK (2.5 Beta) attached to the FCKEditor thread (modules section).

Regards Christian
