Hi!
Present new small module for dynamic copy main block content from other pages.
It's comfortable for used blocks.

This module grab content from other pages. If you don't want print content every time in your blocks then this module for you. Type this module is 'page content', but not admin tools. Install, use and look in work.

Could someone let me know where i could download this from please?

Also, does it allow you to specify how many times you need the page copying?  I have to make 50ish pages, mostly looking the same and was wondering if there was a quick way of doing it?

This is one of the greatest, shuld be standard!

I was wondering, when using this module, is it too difficult to be able to choose "previus"? As in showing the previous showed page. This leaves you the abbillity to have the feel  that menu "lives by it self".

Scenario
Having second and third deaph of a menu. the second shows categories and the third shows products. Now as i dont want the second depth to have any content just the previus visited so youll get the feel that the menu expands and contracts on its own aka "lives by it self" only showing third deapth content.

CategoryB will have no content but will show "categoryA" content is this was the "previus" visited or show "subA2" content this was the "previus" etc.

-categoryA <-some content
--subA1 <-some content
--subA2 <-some content
-categoryB <-NO content but will show "categoryA" content is this was the "previus" visited.
--subB1 <-some content
--subB2 <-some content

I hope you get it  grin

Sounds a bit complicated, especially if you are using it only as a menu.

You may want to consider working up a special SHOWMENU2 section or you may want the Aggregator module.
Aggregator will pull in multiple pages, and generate a menu-like structure from the titles ie <Hx> tags, and I think some other tags if you want it.  It's more of an outline, without much content.

If you mean you want content to "expand into the page" as you click each heading, there is JS and/or CSS code to do that around here, or look on the web on how to create hidden content on a page.

What i mean is that if you make page A, B and C. Page A and B has "WYSIWYG" and page C a "Page Copier" pointing to, as i suggested, "Previous". Then surfing from page A to page C, page C will show page A WYSIWYG content. Surfing from page B to page C, page C will show page B WYSIWYG content.
This would make it easy for not so skilled. Suring directly to page C shows nothing. Apple style simplicity..

I will try out Aggregator, the menu is ShowMenu2..

I plan using this in my recent project..showing products, now i have a hidden page showing content on all level 2 menuchoises using page copier (Language is level 1), level 3 is products. Had to do this as pagecopier only takes content from the first box and that is not how this site is done.

Hello,

Admin tools can be accessed via WB Backend -> Options -> Advanced Settings -> Administration Tools (WB < 2.7) or via WB Backend -> Admin tools (WB 2.7).

Looks interesting. Is it possible to copy the content from more than one page onto the new 'page copier' page?

Thanks,

Konrad

Yes, of course. Use block sections and use this module in conjunction - will be happy!

I downloaded the latest version, and after installation it doesn't show up in the backend (WB 2.7). Using Reload Modules didn't help.

Hi Jurgen,

You should find it under 'Admin Tools' and the link will be 'admin/admintools/tool.php?tool=pagecloner'. I've placed this link in the top navigation of my admin panel for quick access (3rd link down):

Code:
   <td style="font-size: 14px;" valign="top" align="right">
         <a href="{ADMIN_URL}" title="{TITLE_START}"><img src="{ADMIN_URL}/images/home.png" border="0" alt="{TITLE_START}" /></a>
         &nbsp;&nbsp;<a href="{URL_VIEW}" target="_blank" title="{TITLE_VIEW}"><img src="{ADMIN_URL}/images/view.png" border="0" alt="{WB_URL}" /></a>
         &nbsp; <a href="{ADMIN_URL}/admintools/tool.php?tool=pagecloner" title="Pagecloner"><img src="{ADMIN_URL}/images/pagecloner.jpg" border="0" alt="Pagecloner" /></a>
    &nbsp; <a href="{URL_HELP}" target="_blank" title="{TITLE_HELP}"><img src="{ADMIN_URL}/images/help.png" border="0" alt="{TITLE_HELP}" /></a>
         &nbsp; <a href="{ADMIN_URL}/logout" title="{TITLE_LOGOUT}"><img src="{ADMIN_URL}/images/dl.png" border="0" alt="{TITLE_LOGOUT}" /></a>
</td>

This is in Admin/Interface/header.html, I've attached the image for it. Maybe this could be a standard feature in 3.0?!?!?

Hope this helps!

I knew it should be under Admin Tools  smiley
The old version was there allright, but the new one doesn't appear. I checked several installations. All previous versions are installed nicely, but the newest version just doesn't appear after installation. Not even with the direct link. It shows an empty page. The page code is cut off right after the content tag:

Code:
<table cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" border="0" width="900" align="center">
<tr>
  <td class="content">
