Hi,
this seems to be perfect for my needs (as a redirect to a hidden page).

Problems:
1. modul does not show up in admin area
2. when applying to a page, I can only choose from the first two menu layers. Same behavior in section picker module.

Any hints? Thank you!
Karl

Hallo,

most likely one needs to modify the admin tool "Page Copier" to work with WB 2.7. In WB 2.7, the Admin tools were moved from Settings -> Advanced Options -> Administration Tools to Admin-Tools.

1. These modules should not show in the Admin Area. (Except on the add/remove/view modules page)
They are page/section type modules. You will see them in the list of pagetypes when adding a new page or adding extra sections to an existing page.

2. The section picker lists all pages with one or more sections. On all levels. (can't tell about the Page Copier mod)
Can you explain some more on what you think is wrong?

And how would you define "level"?

home (level 1)
+ subpage (level 2)
+ + subsubpage (level 3)
+ + + subsubsubpage (level 4)

or a page in menu1/menu2/menu3/menu4 when using multiple menu's?

Sorry, I did not understand the question.

The structure is the same like your example:

Quote
home (level 1)
+ subpage (level 2)
+ + subsubpage (level 3)
+ + + subsubsubpage (level 4)

Thank you!
Karl

Edit: I didn't change anythingm but section picker works correctly now... Hm!

Just did a little test.

Section-picker will allow you to select a level 4 section. (see screenshot)
Level 6 or 8 should not be a problem too.

Could it be you just cannot create a page that deep (any page).
There is a setting in your "settings > Advanced settings" that will limit the level pages can be created.
Look at: http://help.websitebaker.org/pages/en/basic-docu/working-with-wb/settings/general-settings.php

Maybe that is the problem?

Hello,

The setting was 4 levels and I've been trying to copy a page from level 4 to level 4. That was not possible.
Now I played around with the settings and finally everything is OK: after setting level depth to 6 I could copy my level4-page as wanted.

So thank you for your hint... I did not think about that before!
Regarding sectionpicker - as I wrote before - this module works perfectly now.

Thank you so much

This is a very useful module, but I think the name is confusing and in fact wrong. It does not copy a page. The admin tool "Page Cloner" does that. See http://www.websitebakers.com/pages/admin/admin-tools/page-cloner.php

What this module does is dynamically replicate an already existing main content item into another page. So I suggest to rename this module to something else. For example Content Replicator or something. What do you think?
