Blog/News... with tags?

I thought I saw on a site that belonged to someone that posts here a module that was like the news module but allowed multiple tags instead of just being put in a single category...

Now I can't find where I saw it to find out if it's a module that's out for release or what.

I'm really interested in something like this cause it's much closer to a true blog than the current news module.

Anyone know what I'm talking about, or did I imagine it?

not pretty sure what you are searching for  but maybe you are searching for the anynews snippet? If not, what do you mean by: "allowed multiple tags instead of .. single category"?

lurking here - VERY interested if you run across that again - blog tagging or even just multiple categories per post would be awesome

 :|At this point I'm toying with the idea of selecting 5-6 relevant "phrases" and setting up links to site-search queries for those phrases - and including these links at the end of each post...

I know thats kind of lame and manual, but tagging/multiple category taxonomy is an essential aspect of blogging and while I pride myself in usually being pretty self suffecient in finding creative solutions I'm just not a programmer so I am at the mercies of the PHP/MySQL gurus on this one.

If someone can produce a decent little post/page tagging module or has a solution for associating multiple categories with individual blog posts I'd be happy to $pon$or their efforts and give the module to the community

I found some tagging code from a wiki add-on that I'm going to look through and see if it can be applied to WB... when I get the time :/

I thougth RSMITH made something with tags added to the news mod (or a modified news mod)

That's where I thought I had seen it too, but if I did, it is no longer there... tho the site itself just worked fine for me.

...it appears to use the search feature, neat idea, not exactly what I was looking for, but a nice little module non-the-less - wow lots of little modules here, there and everywhere - like little treasures just waiting to be found

Slink's website seems to be down again - anyone got any updates on this? I would be VERY interested in adding tags to complate wb pages rather than just the news module - I'm trying to achieve something like adding a page to multiple parents here...

Any suggestions anyone?
