Hello everybody,

the users of the website a don't remember that they have to resize the images and don't use them direct from the digicam. Is there any solution how to remedy that abuse?

If not, I think about rendering the images on the fly at this time a request is send to the page, of course only in the case if the image size don't fit with the HTML-Values. Further, I chache the new image until the site is saved again.

How do you think about this Idea?

Best regards

Alexander

Hi!

The Xinha editor has this feature build in. Users can upload images directly from a cam and when inserting the picture in a page the user just has to give the desired width of the picture an xinha renders a resized copy of the original picture.
I think this is a great feature - this way one can upload the picture in original size and use it in different sizes later on.

Unfortunately Xinha isn't available at the moment as a module. I really would like to have it back...  cry

Well if you can fix the security isses or you know someone who can do it let me know. Then we can bring back Xinha as editor for WB.
