Hi,
Has anyone been able to mod this great app to work with multiple content blocks, or has anyone a suggestion on how this could be done. at the moment if you try to apply to multiply content blocks on the same page only one works.
Thanks

I think this is a good start to a great page module. If you upgrade to CKeditor (version 3 of FCKeditor) then you don't have to do any config changes. After reading through the previous posts (I know it's been a while since anyone has posted to this), the recommended updates I see are:
-Limit number of saved "edits" by user to keep table from growing too large. Along these lines the page creator should be able to limit how many "edits" to save.
-If you revert back to an old edition, it shouldn't create a new "edit"
- Fix who can edit the page. The latest edition published in this thread created a new option "Edit - Yes with permissions" but no one but the Admin can edit the page this way.
I am dedicated to getting this module updated and posting what I have on here. I think my biggest limitation right now is not knowing the full workflow of the module, but there is always reverse engineering. If anyone has an idea how this module flows, I would appreciate the extra insight.
Side note: We module developers need to spend more time on documentation for the module itself so that other users understand how to use it better. Simply limiting information to what's required in the system is only going to hurt future developers.

Basicly every module works the same.
A good start for understanding how a module work (all in's and outs) is the code module
Then the wysiwyg module, and a more complex module is news
They are easy to follow if you understand some php.
There are several files in a module directory wich all has a specific task
The dev team is working on a new way wich will be introduced in wb2.8.2 as far as I know, but don't let that stop you.
The new way will be something with action-handlers, ie: no more different save-somthing.php files but one file, easier to enhance security.
Have fun,
John

Wow it is really nice to see that people still periodically check the threads. When the forum warned me that no one had posted in over 250 days, I didn't expect any responses. Also, I didn't mean to sound like I was getting up on my "soap box" about the documentation (I am personally a big offender in that I don't even put comments in my code to outline even basic functions), I just noticed that a lot of other people had similar comments on other postings. As far as I am concerned with WB in general, it is a great tool and so much simpler to implement than some of the other "major" CMS's out there.
Another thing I noticed is that when you go to edit the page in IE 6 (yes, we still have users using it, sad but true), the div tag that hides the old text is getting displayed at the top of the page. I haven't looked closely enough at the code itself to determine why it is doing that.
It is good to hear that 2.8.2 will offer native support of something similar; however, I looking to implement this in the next month or two, so time is of the essence. It sounds like the 2.8.2 module will be more ideal, but I'm also working behind a firewall on an intranet, so security is less of a concern. Also, I'm not sure if there is a more appropriate posting to offer this up, but one feature I feel is lacking from the system is setting parent templates. We have sections of the site that act as "mini" sites within the greater site. However, this creates a hassle when you go to change the template for the "mini" site because you have to manually change each child page along with the parent page. Maybe something like this already exists, but I haven't seen how to do it yet.
