Hi,

I have astrange phenomenon using the standard editor: When I want to enter a link, I mark the respective text and press on the link icon. I get a popup window, where I can select an existing page as link or type in a new one. Two things happen 8/10 times with Firefox (tried w/ IE, seems to be mostly OK):

- I cannot type in an external address. It simply does not allow typing
- If I try to link to an existing picture, I would have to select the subdirectory it is located. Whatever I select ftom the dropdown menu, the subdirectory does not change.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
Mercator

Hello,

this is a bug of the WYSIWYG editor HTMLArea, which is used as default for WB. HTMLArea was developed in times were no FF was available, so this may be the reason.

As HTMLArea is no longer supported by the developers of this editor, I suggest to use FCKEditor or Xinha instead. This editors can be downloaded form the Adons page and can be installed via the WB Backend. Once installed, simply changed the default editor in Settings - Show advanced settings - default editor.

Regards Christian
