Disappearing Image

We have a problem that an image on our first page doesn't appear when some visitors first enter the site, but it does appear when they click back to the home page from an internal page.  This is the the site:

http://www.charles-king-masterful-living.com/

I'm using a relative link of "templates/charlesking/images/overcoming-book.jpg"

It always shows for me. 

I have a feeling that giving it a hard link will fix it, but I'm curious what the explanation might be.

tested it with FF 2.0.0.3 and WIN XP and I can´t reproduce your problem. I see all images or at least no additional image is shown when I use the direct link or going back from an internal page.

Same here, I don't see what you are talking about (FF 1.5.0.11)
