Depends if you could tell us:
- what version of massmail you are using; where you´ve downloaded it?
- what version of WB you are using >2.6.5 or below?
- if 2.6.5 have you configured SMTP if not can you try this (config.php)
- have you experienced mail problems with other modules e.g. form module, remember password
- what email address you have specified in options server email
- have you already tried to send emails to another mail account

using 2.6.5, i tried using smtp in the config but my server requires a logon.

I downloaded the massmail module out of the modules section yesterday

I've tried changing the email address in the server option

when i use the forgotten password feature says details sent but i havent recieved it.

Hello,

if you require authentification, please have a look at the following thread. There I've explained how to implement SMTP authentification. This option will be implemented as default option with WB2.7 release.

Ok,

thats a good starting point, as the password remember routine already uses the new wbmailer class. I have posted a modified file for the massmail module to use the wbmailer class instead of the PHP function mail() which often fails. So please have a look at this thread: http://forum.websitebaker.org/index.php/topic,564.msg36850.html#msg36850

Best regards

Excellent, jobs a good one... i've setup smtp anyways with authentification like in the thread you pointed out. I think it's a lot faster than using the phpmail function.

I also used the modified save.php file in the other thread you pointed out.

Thank you very much
