@mysticfreeman

Would You please tell me what you did, when you got that error, because I can not recall it on my installation?

I did not changed the wrong spelling of the table, only the text shown in the module,.

i have also managed to duplicate the error when deleting groups that have been made by the mass mail page. Are you any closer to a fix for this as i'd like to get a newsletter started up on my site asap..

thank you

Is there a possibility build a list of non registrered user who do want to receive an newsletter or something. So by the subscriptions part of the page emailaddresses can be added when they are not registered as a user?

A wysiwyg editor would be a good idea, or the possibility to add html in the email or some kind of template.

OK ... shou should make a page with content "mass mail". Then you are beeing redirected into the "create mail" form. This will happen every time you modify this page.

And ... it will send a mail to all registered users of your website.

cheers

did you uninstall and reinstall? Go tho "settings" - click on "show advanced options" and on the bottom of the page you have "Administration Tools". There you select "reload Add-Ons" and then reload the modules and test again please.

verify that the pagetype is "mass mail" if in doubt, recreate the page again.

Hi!

Yes I uninstalled and reinstalled 3 times, made the page 3 times, but no results:(, allways empty pages.
(ps: yesterday i downloaded the cabin modul from Your site, there's a submit  button missing in the add,edit section of the form)

Thanks for trying to help!

Best wishes!

Toncsiking
(by the way I installed several moduls, most of them work well-I think I know how to do the job.There's
another modul I can't use is the songlist-I can add new songs, to the list I see the admin section, but on the frontend there's an empty page:(
OK. I know it's offtopic here:)

hmm .. the modules on my site are not current and not made by me ... I just made a backup there grin

With the module ... Which ersion do you use? Another thing could be: try uploading the unzipped module via FTP and then reload- add-ons ...

Did yo check, if the DB entries are there?

cheers

Change line 131 in modify.php

From

$query_insert = "INSERT INTO mod_massmail_subscr ipe SET user_id='$uid', username='$username', display_name='$display_name', email='$email'";

To

$query_insert = "INSERT INTO ".TABLE_PREFIX."mod_massmail_subscr ipe SET user_id='$uid', username='$username', display_name='$display_name', email='$email'";

That way it will find the table if you have a table prefix ( worked for me anyway)

the reason for these modules not included in the "completed modules" list is that they are not ready.

I'm trying this one out on a local test-bed, the initial module install works fine, but when I try to add the module to a page, I get the following error message:

Fatal error: Call to a member function numRows() on a non-object in C:\wamp\www\wb\modules\massmail\modify.php on line 47

This is under WB 2.6.4, fresh install, no other modules and no browser helper objects or add-ons present.  wink

EDIT: version 2.01 works better, but gives me other error messages, e.g. problems when adding groups (Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in C:\wamp\www\wb\modules\massmail\save_group.php on line 46).

I agree, I know the modules in this forum are not finished yet. But because there is so much discussion going on about the modules (in a positive way!) that it is hard to find the link for certain ones. Maybe it's a good idea to make a page called 'expiremental module page'?
If all the new and not completed modules are available there it would be easier for people to find and test them!
