Hi Juwi,
don't know if I understand your problem correctly, but let me give it a try.
In the media-section create a new folder (i.e. video), upload your .flv to it (mind you: uploading through the WB admin (php) limits the file to 2 MB. If you use bigger files, upload them through ftp, but you probably won't be able to store the fie in any subfolder you crated in the WB admin module. in that case: ftp it to the root of the media folder).
Now you should be able to select the folder in the dropdown list in the WB admin of your page.
Hope that helps. Good luck,
Vincent

If someone is wondering how to get the fullscreen mode to work, heres the solution:
1. Open ufo.js:
2. Find line 192 which is:
var _obj = UFO.createElement("object");
3. Add this line after that:
_obj.setAttribute("allowfullscreen", "true");
..and thats it
why this code is not in the origibal code?
For me is impossible to creeate a new zip with this edit .. (and is impossibile to write english)

I downloaded this today and it works... one question though, any way to create pagination? It would be great if you have alot of videos.
Thanks!

Hi!
I've been using WB for some time now and gotten around to getting some .flv's playing. The SVG is just what I need but I can't make the files play.
I have installed the addon and made a folder /media/video in which I've placed the .flv's. and made a SVG-page When viewing the page it enumerates all the files but when I try to play them it never loads the video. Flash player never indicate more than 0% loaded.
At first I suspected something to be wrong with the path to the files but since SVG enumerates all files (one player for each file) and shows nothing if the files are removed I don't anymore.
Can this be a firewall issue?

Hi,
Inclusion of the Gallery is very simple and all seems to work ok at first sight, but my films seem to bail out after about 10 seconds of playing time.
Got the same result in either IE and Firefox. All directories containing the flv's and the flv's themselves have been ftp'ed as recommended.
example:
http://www.deregenboog.be/pages/over-de-regenboog/films.php
Anyone? Thanks for any idea and keep up the good work!

Just a tip!
If you have different kind of video's you don't want to show on the same page, you can do like this:
Video (menu tab on your site)
Page 1 Video dogs
Page 2 Video cats
Create a directory/ map in Media in your backend called dogs - and upload here 1 or more video's about dogs
Create a directory/ map in Media in your backend called catss - and upload here 1 or more video's about cats
select on the page dogs the video directory/map dogs and it will show the dogs video's on this page
Do the same for cats.
So if you want 10 vidieo's on seperated pages you can do this. Just make as many pages as you like and create the directory's simular for those pages.
Succes

I'm using this to insert a single video and would like it to autoplay. Which file do I need to amend to achieve this?
TIA

This module is so great!
I love it
- Thanks.
How is the sort order of the videos determined?
I tried changing the timestamps and filenames of the FLVs but the order is stays the same.
What can I do to get the videos in the order I want?

Morning all.
Is there a size limit for the FLV files ? I have four files in my directory and I see only two ones in my web pages.

No. there is no limit.
On one of my sites you'd see more than 30 video's on one page. Some of them being about 8 Mb. It even loads quite fast.

Thanks Vincent. I don't understand why only two videos among four are visible and this is the two smallest (3Mo). The screen is blank for the big ones (70 Mo each). The initial video are WMV files (Webinar recording).
What I do wrong ?

I have a 2.0 mb DSL connection. Sometimes it is a bit slower and I get a little choppy video. Is there a way to set a buffer before viewing the video. Everything else works great including adding the code for full screen.

It has been asked a few times and not answered, is there a way to change the order that the videos appear on the page? Numerical (e.g. 1_video.flv, 2_video.flv, 3_video.flv) does not result in the videos displayed in that order.
Can anyone suggest how to order them?

Hey there,
my bad, when I developed this module I didn't think about ordering
anyway, this should do the trick
delete everything in view.php from line 76 to 98, and replace with this:
Code:
$dir = opendir($directory);
$files=array();
while (false !== ($file = readdir($dir))) {
if (substr($file, strrpos($file, '.') + 1) == "flv"):
$files[]=$file;
}
}
closedir($dir);
sort($files);
foreach($files as $file) {
$idplayer = $idplayer + 1;
$counter = $counter + 1;
echo "<td><span id='player$idplayer'><a href='http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer'>Get the Flash Player</a> to see this player.</a></span>";
echo "<script type='text/javascript'>";
echo "var FO = { movie:'$dirmodulo/flvplayer.swf',width:'$width',height:'$height',majorversion:'7',build:'0',bgcolor:'#000000',";
echo "flashvars:'file=$dirweb/$file&showdigits=true&image=$dirweb/$file.jpg&showicons=true&lightcolor=0x".$lightcolor."&backcolor=0x".$backcolor."&frontcolor=0x".$frontcolor."&volume=100' };";
echo "UFO.create( FO, 'player$idplayer');";
echo "</script>";
echo "<br />";
@include($directory."/".$file.".txt");
echo "</td>";
if ($counter == $videos_row):
echo "</tr><tr valign='top'>";
$counter = 0;
endif;
}
it simply put all the file names in an array instead of printing directly while checking the directory, so you can handle your array as you prefer. In this case, sort($files) does what you needed to, sorting by file names
Let me know if this code works correctly, so I can update my original post
Cheers
Emanuele

did you test locally or on a remote server?
if locally, it just hangs with a white page, without any debugging info?
