bookings calendar

hi all, i need a bookings calendar.. ie a month view with either 'available' or 'booked' in the days.. is there anything suitable?

Only the calendar or the eventcalendar ... but you can not set the bookings from outside the admin interface.

Do you simply want people to see what dates are either booked or available? If so, could you simply use one of the event modules and create events listing either booked or available? I know that Event Calendar allows you predefine event types. Could you have 2 event types for available or not?

the events calendar wouldnt really be ideal.. i want a month view (calendar layout), with a mark under each day simply indicating yes or no. .. but i cant think of a way to do it.

Humm...sounds to me like Event Calendar would work fine since it shows a calendar and you could enter an event for each day with a description of either 'yes' or 'no'. Here's the Event Calendar displaying a calendar with events on my site if you want to see it in action:
