Hi all,

You may have noticed the many changes that have taken place over the last 24 hours with our website.
This is part of a restructure and overhaul of our website portal to help the community interact more effectively.

The first part in the overhaul includes the new design that I created, which hopefully will achieve its goal of a more professional look.

The second part of the overhaul includes the addition of the following new websites:
- start.websitebaker. org
- help.websitebaker.o rg
- and soon: news.websitebaker.o rg

The new "Start" website has been created in an effort to attract more people to our project, especially for those that speak languages other than english (notice the page has already been translated into German).

The new documentation site will be a "front-end" to the new project page for the documentation project (http://projects.websitebaker.org/documentation/). This new Help website will provide a "one-stop-shop" for WB users to find the latest and greatest of WB documentation. Please be aware that it is still a work in progress.

And the soon to come News website will be a WB install that will allow us to produce a central repository of news for the project and community. It will include RSS feeds, as well as translations of most news posts into other languages.

I would like to say thanks to all those who have worked on our websites.
To check out a much updated Teams list, please visit:

(Note: if you would like to become an officially recognised team member, please contact me via PM).

Enjoy! grin

Ryan.

Just wanted to say thanks for all the work and I love the new look. The last refresh was good, but this is a very professional appearance.

One minor suggestion for the Help page - make the links stand out just a bit more. You could put a paragraph break before the "Please visit the WebsiteBaker Community forum at http://forum.websitebaker.org/." link. Also, the title could be a link - I know I immediately clicked on it, since a lot of news sites have trained us to click on the title to get the article.

Also, on the Projects page - the Event Module links to TRAC. A better title would be Project Management or Development Control or something. Event Module sounds like a calendar addon. Smiley

DGEC, thanks for the suggestions. BTW, the Event Module is actually a calendar addon, the Trac page just hasn't been changed as the developer hasn't spent much time on the project. wink
