hehe i knew youd say that, the reason we did it is because ejunkie will host our PDFs securely, meaning we dont have to secure them on our own server. Im not sure that Paypal does that?
Either way, Im sure it could be setup to integrate with paypal better and leave ejunkie out of it. Just get into the files and hack em around, youll soon figure it out
on another note, does anyone have an idea how to have 2 instances of gocart running in seperate content blocks on the same page? at the moment, they interfere with each other, when you click on a product to view its detailed view, it shows up in all gocart sections on the page!

Thanks anyway. Unless there is another module capable of integrating with WB, we'll move forward with our OScommerce install. Thank you.

no worries mate, if you want a serious ecommerce solution, the WB solutions are probably still a bit young in development. like someone else said before though, go for zen cart! ive used both osc and zen and zen kicks ass in my opinion. good luck!
p.s. whats that file you attached?

If you want something that is a lot simpler than Zen or OSComm etc, try CubeCart. Not Open Source, but the older 3.9 (?) version is still free to use, with a Powered By message.

hi guys, I can't seem to get gocart to display the multiple page links on the display page. has anyone had this issue before? I have tried it in both baker 2.6 and 2.7... it displays the maximum items per page correctly, just does not create the back and next links.

Im going to be looking at the latest version, although I think thats what Im running.. if so, here is my question:
Is there a way to make catagories? and, my cart only supports one purchase it looks like. IE: one item in the cart at a time?
am I doing something wrong?
thanks

funny you should ask that, ive just customised the gocart module to work alongside the e-junkie (
www.e-junkie.com
) secure cart system which we are using to host pdfs and handle the payments.
Ive also removed the shipping feature as I wont be charging any for downloadables of course!
the procedure is,
1. setup an ejunkie account
2. setup a paypal account
3. link your paypal to your ejunkie account
4. install the WB module
5. under settings, enter your ejunkie cart ID number, you can find this by looking in the code ejunkie gives you to paste into your site
6. for each product you add, enter its ejunkie ID number
That should be it! I have only barely tested this so expect some bugs, also my PHP skills are very basic so I wont be surprised if ive done something retarded.
Hope it helps someone?!?
This really helps me. I'm not sure though about steps 5 and 6. Which field in settings do you enter your ejunkie ID and where exactly do you enter your Product ID.
Thanks for your help.
One thing I like about ejunkie is the ability to handle software key codes automatically. I'm still working though on a single login for Claroline Classrooms and the WebsiteBaker registered user.

Would Zen Cart or any other opensource cart software be compatible with websitebaker? Should I install GoCart before I attempt to use an opensource cart? Also, do you install Zen Cart into WebsiteBaker or in a separate folder of your website? Thanks I'm new to the WB software and hopefully someone can clear this up for me.
Update
: I just found out about Bakery Ecommerce. Is this a better option?

Hello!
I just found website baker, I love it. Now I found this module wich lack some small things, like downloadable digital goods etc. I have intermediate php programming skills and I've developed PayPal applications before. So my guess is that I will make a lot of folks happy if I take the time making some extra files for this module? Currently reading through the wb documentation, but I WILL get into this. I really like the simplicity of GoCart.

Hello,
the GoCart module is obsolete.
Maybe you want to check out
bakery
instead, which is actively developed by user
freeSbee
.
