My WB is running perfectly, except administrators cannot log out of admin. When you click the logout link in administration area, you are redirected to the intro page of admin and stay logged in.
I searched the forum and didn't find a solution.
Thank you for help...

I also just experienced this problem. I don't know the exact technical cause but since I fixed it now, I think I have a guess:

THE FIX:
Go to both of these addresses on your installation:
.../wb/admin/logout/
.../wb/account/logout.php

This should make it that you are logout out both from the backend and frontend of the site.

EDIT: Also make sure that your browser(s) accept cookies from your site.

Then login again as normal.

THE PROBLEM:
If you have a login on the frontened of your site and an admin logs in there, somehow it interferes with the backend login from executing properly. My guess is either a glitch with WB or it could be some mix-up with your browser cookies/password settings. I use Firefox with a Master Password set to save passwords. I made sure that there were no passwords saved for my site at all before logging in again.

Someone with more technical knowledge should try to answer whether or not this is a technical issue with WB.

But I hope that helps for now.

I just experienced the same problem, and I found solution for it.

In admin/interface/header.php file in the logout link put / on the end so it should be

 {admin_url}/logout/ instead {admin_url}/logout

I think that administrator should update this in core file which is available for download Smiley

A small contribution from me, but large for WB Smiley))

Hello,

what version are you using crnogorac081. The post from mathethos is pretty old (2006).
this error is related to an outdated WB 2.6.x versions or below and was fixed latest with WB 2.7.
Guess this could easily fixed by upgrading to WB 2.7.

Regards Christian

P.S.: Klaus, can you please close the ticket 670 once this was confirmed by someone else

Well,

moving the mouse over the log-out button in WB 2.7 displays the correct log-out link without the trailing / in the status bar.

Confused! I thought crnogorac081 says the trailing / IS required.

Well, I downloaded WB a month ago, from WB home page (V 2.7) and there is no "/" at the end.  The Logout worked fine for me at the start, but later it keeps me loged in on /admin/start/index page... So I searched the site, and found this post, and by putting the "/" at the end of logout link logout button works Smiley)

I used both FF and IE7, and I had the same problem (the logout button worked at the start, nut later not), so if you have this problem just add the "/" at the end of the link as I posted above.

Cheers !!
