Hi folks,

i would like to use the multi language feature of wb. I have read the http://projects.websitebaker.org/websitebaker2/wiki/Docs-EN-Multilingual-Website document and most of the wb functions really works.
But if i try to insert a page of type news and post some article the menu structure did not work in the way it should be  grin
If i go to an article the menu shows all layers beginning with the root like this

DE
--Start
-- Service
----Links
----Downloads
-- Kontakt
EN
--Home
--Service
----Links
----Downloads
--Contact

but i want the menu structure to this:

for the german pages:
Start
Service
--Links
--Downloads
Kontakt

and for the english sites:
Home
Service
--Links
--Downloads
Contact

Except the posting sites, all other sites show the correct menu structure.

Can anybody tell me where is the mistake? Or tell me what i have to do now.

Thank.

Which menufunction are you using? If still the page_menu(), please change over to show_menu oder show_menu2 (add-on). have you read my article about the show menu function?

cheers

Hi Klaus,

yes of course i read your article about the show_menu() function. I replace the "normal" page_menu() function with the show_menu() and now it works fine, except of the search pages.  grin

The search pages making trouble because if i use show_menu(1,1,-1) in my template index.php file and call the search the complete menu disappears.
Now i am searching for a solution about this.

I read the post http://forum.websitebaker.org/index.php/topic,4017.0.html and modified the code. Even this do not work right.

The fu... search page  grin

Greetings.

have a read through the forum, an attempt is made to rectify the situation. But I don't think, that it is done. Didn't have time to implement myself though, so no testing. If you succeed, please post the way you did it.

Details can be found in this Thread.

cheers
