I can respect that...
How about a non stand alone section of the addons? There are lots of programmers out there that can figure out how to make these work on our sites. But if they are buried in the forum its hard to even know they are here.
I guess I'm a touch frustrated that I didn't see this module and started working on it then half way through I consulted the forum and found a developed implementation.
A forum just seems to float the active stuff and sink the inactive stuff. When there is still value in the inactive stuff.

Is there any way to handle Umlauts such as äöü gracefully with this otherwise excellent mod-addon? On my dev Server I see this url of the directory Täuschung: http://www.gunbarreltwo.test/?dir5=%2FT%C3%A4uschungProblem is, IE 7 can't handle it and displays no pictures. Also, is there a way to give the Uplink default of .. (thats two dots...) a real name? Any help is much appreciated. /ngcat

I just found a simple trick if you don't want to show the MailaFriend-link: add #mailafriend{ display:none } to the styles of the laout settings. Vincent

Awesome tips! Thanks BaZzz and others!
Is there a way I can get the "Another Image Gallery" module to actually resize the images, and use those rather than the original image scaled in the browser (I assume this is what is happening)?
Thanks!!! Amos
[EDIT]
I've been messing around with integrating Lightbox with Pickle, because it has the resize image functionality. I have it working, but it is ugly since I'm not a programmer. If there is interest in this, let me know and perhaps I'll start a new topic on this?

Hello all! I've updated the instructions in order for it to work with the latest version of Another Image Gallery 1.7. I just tested it and it works again. Check out the instructions here: http://www.websitebaker2.org/forum/index.php/topic,3855.msg25362.html#msg25362

Great addon. Just intergrated it in a website (check url in website showcase) 1 minor 'bug': When you have more pages with pictures and you have, let say, 9 pictures on one page you cannot go further with the arrow keys or > key in the ligtbox to the 10th picture on the next page. So the visitor has to close the lightbox, go to the 2nd page and re-open the lightbox again to watch photo 10-18. Any solvation for this? Greetz, knert

Sorry knert, but there's no solution for it at this time. I also don't expect there will ever be one, at least not from me, because making one would require quite some adjustments and not make things any easier.
However, my compliments for the website, it looks nice and clean, I like that.

Thnx BaZzz for your quick response. Too bad it cannot be solved. At this moment I do not know if this is a standard Lightbox issue. If so than I can try to search the Internet for any solution. If there is any, I'm the first to post it right here In the meantime, thank you for your compliment regarding the website. Always nice to hear Greetz Knert

An addition to my last post; I didn't change anything but now the pagenumbers are visible. But when I press the next button till the last photo on the page and then close the picture, the pagenumbers are disappeared again! Is this strange or strange?
It happens in IE7 not in Mozilla.

Well i've been trying to get this to work all afternoon and i've finaly succeded. Here's the problem. If you find that when you click on the images nothing happens try this: INSTEAD OF THIS <link rel="stylesheet" href="/lightbox/css/lightbox.css" type="text/css" media="screen" /> <script type="text/javascript" src="/lightbox/js/prototype.js"></script> <script type="text/javascript" src="/lightbox/js/scriptaculous.js?load=effects"></script> <script type="text/javascript" src="/lightbox/js/lightbox.js"></script> USE THIS <link rel="stylesheet" href="<?php echo WB_URL.'/lightbox/css/lightbox.css'; ?>" type="text/css" media="screen" /> <script src="<?php echo WB_URL.'/lightbox/js/prototype.js'; ?>" type="text/javascript"</script> <script src="<?php echo WB_URL.'/lightbox/js/scriptaculous.js?load=effects,builder'; ?>" type="text/javascript"></script> <script src="<?php echo WB_URL.'/lightbox/js/lightbox.js'; ?>" type="text/javascript"></script> Whats the difference? Well there are 2. 1: I've <?php echo WB_URL.' '; ?> around the src for the js files so that its less reliant on the loctaion of you WB 2: What really caused the problem I've moved the type="text/javascript" to the end of the script.

If you add the lightbox files to your template, you can request that button module be added to the tinyMCE WYSIWYG editor in the thread going on. It should be fairly easy to add =) It would be better to request a module that edits the "rel" attribute for a tag. http://www.websitebaker2.org/forum/index.php/topic,9830.0.htmlThis way you can get a module that would work for greybox, lightview, lightbox, thickbox, etc. (all those javascript apps that require you edit the rel tag of an item)

I'm using some version of lightbox 2 gallery module. It works fine, but I need the thumbnails to be a fixed size of e.g. 100x100px. Where can I change this, is it possible?
Thanks!

What kind of effect would that be precisely? Do you have an example?

I'm using this script and it works perfect except for one thing:
I've got 3 photos in a gallery but when I click the lightbox it says "Image 1 of 6" and after photo 3 it starts with photo 1 again. So it shows my photos twice in 1 gallery...
