I am using this module on a site I am developing. I would like to be able to show a list of the next events, say 3 or 5. I have seen snippets written for the other two event calendar modules for WB and wondered if anyone had written one for this module? I don't write php myself although I can sometimes make modifications to a script, but I can't see how to modify either of the other scripts to suit this mod.
cheers,
Mike

@mikejd-
It's pretty easy...just modify NewsAnywhere. You'll change the table name that is queried, add any additional query criteria (such as 3 next events), and the field names and format that are displayed. I use this on several sites.

Wow, great stuff! Adding events work great, and the public display is super. Now, all I have to do is translate it in french.
Thanks for your great work!!!
Hi,
Is your french traduction available somewhere?
It would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers,

Formatting Question
«
Reply #80 on:

My calendar has the days of the week (M-F) going down vertically on the left.
Is there a way to change this so the days goes along the top horizontally, like: Mo Tu We Th Fri, etc..?
Also, how do you change the date/time format from 24:00 to 12:00 AM/PM.
Anyone know? You help is greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance!

I suspect your code/css is messed up. It shouldn't ever do that, as far as I can recall. Unless you actually have some other calendar module installed.

Take a look at the HTML that the code generates and you'll see that days with an event use the class name "calendar_eventday" for the cell (<TD> tag). Just use CSS to style that class name.

I'm having a problem with this one.
The box containing the new action settings is cut off sp the description text area is not visible.
However I can still write a description if I put the cursor in the "place" box and hit TAB. But I cant see what I am writing.
I have tried altering some CSS settings in the modify.php to increse height of the boxes, but can't find the right one. From what document is this controlled?

@Claren
The image that you included is not this calendar module (unless you have heavily modified the admin section). Check to see which calendar module that you are using.

It isn't?
This thread is what is linked as the "module thread" under the "Calendar" on the addon page.
http://addons.websitebaker.org/pages/modules/page-modules.php
Oh well, I'll try to figure out where to post then.
Thanks for telling.

Hello:
I'm using WB 2.7 and just installed this module. It says it installed successfully but when I go to click on Calendar Settings I get this error page:
Quote
Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
Please contact the server administrator,
webmaster@smalltowncub.com
and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.
More information about this error may be available in the server error log.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
So not sure what i'm doing wrong. Please Help

Someone should really correct this, to save confusion. The Ad-Ons repository has the standard "Calendar" linking to this modified calendar thread.
Calendar downloads: 15379 | type: zip | size: 23.1 kB
This module allows you to add a simple calendar to your website. Supported languages: English, German, Czech. See the module thread (
http://www.websitebaker2.org/forum/index.php/topic,3777.20.html
) of the WB forum for further information.

I agree
In AMASP there are three agenda's with an image that shows how they look:
Calendar
http://www.websitebakers.com/pages/modules/calendar-and-time/calendar.php
Event calendar
http://www.websitebakers.com/pages/modules/calendar-and-time/event-calendar.php
and
Modified calendar
http://www.websitebakers.com/pages/modules/calendar-and-time/modified-event-calendar.php
Maybe you can better look there because you have three choices and know what each calendar looks like.

I am trying to add an avent that starts on Sept 30 (last day of the month) and ends on Oct 1.
In the backend of the module it all appears fine, but the frontend of WB only shows the event on Sept 30 - it wont show at all on Oct 1. I tried making 2 seperate events - one that starts and ends on sept 30, and another that starts and ends on oct 1. I got the same result on the frontend! Oct 1 will just not show up as having an event on.
I also tried making an event span from the last day of the month to the first (eg oct 31 to nov1) and this worked fine. Its just Oct 1 that is having issues.
Has anyone had this problem with this calendar before?
