Hi,

I just tried to enter some news items into the news module. Technically it seems to work fine, except for a detail:

Foreign characters (ü, ä, etc.) are replaced by a question mark in a black diamond:
So I tried to use ü etc. in the source code - to no avail: At first the characters show up correctly (when switching from source to WYSIWYG). After a save, the correct characters are again replaced by the question mark signs.

I do not have this problem with the rest of my WB site.

Thanks for your help!

Thanks for the instant reply.
As I said, it works fine with the rest of WB, so it's not a charset problem (at least not on WB main level). Rather some problem with the module.
Where can I check the charset of single modules?

They should take the options of WB. Otherwise, you'll need to check the files associated to a module manually ...

cheers
