My Data Has Disappeared!

Please help. My website has suddenly reverted back to February 13, 2006! This means all the pages and news items and events since then have disappeared.

Does anyone have any idea what might have happened and how it might be recovered? I certainly would be obliged.

have you checked already with your webhost if they put in a backup?

You should also always manage your backups yourself (like a weekly dump of the DB and the webspace)

I did e-mail my web host -- right after I posted here. They had the back-up. Situation solved (but scary for a while)!

Good to hear, but anyway, after maijor updates or changes (or even once a week) you should make a dump of it yourself, just to make shure
