Using the code page, you could enter peaces of code, to enhance a page, or create a total new page, with customized features. And which isn't so complex that it requires a module...

snippets are for people who know php and mysql, but they don't have to be an expert on those area's (because if you are you'll write it yourself). But still able, to edit some value's to fit there needs...

what do you think about that???

Ryan,

What we are hoping to get is a location to store all pieces of usefull, modified or otherwise handy code that improve websitebaker.

That way code that is pasted throughout the forum can be placed in 1 central location.

Am I getting this right, fienieg?

Oh, like what is planned to go on the "Scripts" section of the website, found here:
http://www.websitebaker.org/pages/download/scripts.html
I have planned this for a while, and want to start working on it soon. Cool

aaah ok, but i meant a real snippets database, so searchable, complete list etc...

[name snippets] <-- Searchable
[keywords] <--  Searchable
[description] <-- Searchable
[the code]
[how to install]
[credits]

and make an automated process to the forum, so we all can discuss on the give snippet.

and make it moderated, so anyone can add snippets, but the must be given a approval bij a moderator, after testing the snippet..

Yes that is what I want to put there. Just gotta find the time to do it. I am working on the Documentation site first, then I will work on the Community one, which will probably have something to do with the snippest section. Cool
