Newsreader module

Hello everyone,
I have a RSS newsfeed that work fine with the newsreader module v1.0. However, instead of showing the logo it shows the same placeholder that is displayed if a picture cannot be found. It is my suspicion that the newreader comes without a logo. Deselecting the 'show logo' option changes nothing. Does anybody have any suggestion as to how to remove the placeholder?

I don't know that module, but I guess there is a call to <img src=blahblah somewehere in the view.php. Remove that and the problem should be gone.
