Hi there all,

This morning all of a sudden our schoolwebsite gives just a blanc page (no error).
The site is heavily used by several teachers putting up content. I think there must be something wrong with the database. I can get access to the backend and everything works fine there but there are no pages shown in the backend. I know they are there because I can see them by FTP.

Is there a trick to show the pages again?
Or do I have to use PHPmyadmin? And what is it I have to do there?

I hope someone can give me a quick answer.

greetings,

MacSmet

Edit:
I got this error: Call to a member function numRows() on a non-object in ..../framework/class.frontend.php on line 85
When opening this file it says on line 85: $default_num_rows = $get_default->numRows();

What does this mean? I fear the worst!

First of all please check with the administrators if they did run any upgrades on the host and database systems. Then check if the database connection details are still OK. At the end I recon it will be only the Administrator of the host who will be able to assist you in this.

cheers

After all it was a hoster problem! It lasted almost a whole day and there was no notification on their website.
Via PHPmyAdmin I noticed myself a lott of 'trouble'  so I contacted them myself and then they replied they were working on it.
