How to Protect WB by .htaccess?

Dear All WB User,

I have design new WB website demo for my client something like: http://www.mywebsite.com/demo/.

My question is how can we protect this /demo/ folder website with .htaccess?

I have try to generate from http://tools.dynamicdrive.com/password/ it working fine for statistic website but it now work with WB by using .htaccess.

We need only who has username & password only can view demo site.

Any advice to fix this issue?

If you have the .htaccess created correctly it should work fine.
The protection is done on (apache) server level before any page/php/cms is loaded.

Most hosting control-panels will have options to protect one or more directories.
Check there, or ask your hoster for help.
