Hi all,

The work I am doing is on the following link:

http://www.knocknagoshelshootinggrounds.com/wb/pages/about-us.php

(I get this as the 'start' page when I click on the 'View' website button from the admin end while on the homepage, it won't display from any other page)

You will be able to browse the pages from the menu you see there, but you won't be able to get back to the homepage by clicking on it from the menu. Why is this?

Thanks,

Seanie.

The website is running on IIS.
Standard, IIS does not use php. So IIS will not look for php pages by default.

You should be able to configure that in your webserver. Look for something like "default pages".
See item 4 on this page: http://www.simongibson.com/intranet/php2003/

Hi Ruud,

Thanks for the quick reply. PHP is enabled and version 5.2.x is on it, but I can't find anything else on IIS that would help. I checked your link and I am not sure what I am looking for on the server here. They are both Windows-based, I can see that, but I think my hosting provider (h-sphere on Digiweb) does not allow a more thorough look-through for end users. Your helpful link does shed light but the options are not available to me, it seems.

If your hoster does not provide you with ways to set this yourself you should ask him to set if for you.
Without this it makes no sense selling PHP on IIS servers.

Thanks Ruud,

I have been in touch with Digiweb's technical/hosting support, let's see if they know how to fix it for me (I included your link!).

Sorted!

You were right Ruud, it took some searching on the host control panel once I was told where to find it (it wasn't very obvious) and I managed to add index.php as (one of) the default pages to look for.

Thanks for your help!
