Hi,

I just found on web that there is Pacer CMS (Ryan's WB) available for download. I download it and testing it, there are really nice things there, so maybe devs can use them to include in next release of WB..

cheers

Pacer is not done by Ryan. It's an older WB Fork done by Ex-WB-Users.

Hmm, cannot find a public SVN for Pacer or Lepton, so its pretty hard to review the code and all changes.

Its not a problem adding features to WB, the problem is not to break anything else in the process.
The WB code is pretty "unusual"  and it really needs extensive cleanup. But if you simply add more and more features it sooner or later becomes unusuable and slow.

It would be really nice if you find some  usefull features , that you show us how they are done, and how we could apply them to a WB installation. As many pepole build theyr own private WB Fork, maybe whith preinstalled modules and a handfull of changes they personally need.

But always keep in mind that the features you like are not neccessary needed by other pepole and not neccessarily go into the main core.

At least i would like to see some details on improvements, as long as dicussion is on a relaxed and productive level i am pretty sure that no admin will interfere whith this discussion.

I am not going to write you a link here, but you can find it on google. What I ment is that I found a bigger admin panel, and I would like to see those features in WB.

My discussions ends here. This was just a call to WB devs to take a look at that release.

cheers

Why do you need a public SVN to see what enhancements are made? Just download a release, install it, try it out. (Or use public demo, if available.) No one suggested to overtake code, just functionality.

Cause i want to see exactly what has been done, maybe i want to add several changes to my personal edition, or even add them to WB . I want to see if those changes are just crappy spagetti code that causes more problems than it solves. I don't like to do full diffs on all files to check if there has been an addition that sends data back to the developers, or maybe even does something illegal.
And i am interested to see i the advertised 500+ changes to WB are real changes or if developers are just spreading lies.

If you do open development you should have nothing to hide. If you have somthing to hide you should not do open development.

Take a look at Drupal, even more features...
